The little robin

The little Robin came and visited this morning. You can see him sitting on the Birdbath. He was delightful.

The little Robin flew across to a bush and sat there for a few moments before flying off again.

Continuation of my walk

A lonesome horse, friendly little fella. Very obliging for photo's

These nests are the homes of rooks or crows, not quite sure which. They were very verbal as I took their photograph. There was a lot of flying around too

Easter Monday

Feeding station adjusted for discouraging the larger birds. Will it work?

How many pigeons do you see around the Bird table?

A friendly squirrel on the walk this afternoon!

A local house down the lane.

A lovely garden, with daffodils and featuring a plough. Look carefully its slightly hidden by the trees.

The duck pond round by The Manor House.

Many of the birds have been seen around this lane today.

The little Robin sang beautifully this afternoon from the tree.

The little Robin is in the middle of the picture. Can you spot him?

NO BIRDS

Feeding Station frozen likewise the water feature.

Note the feeder hanging on the wall, it's just by the back door. What's eaten the food?

The Eucalyptus Tree. Greenfinches have now appeared in the coconut feeder feeding! Blue Tits have enjoyed an afternoon snack from the peanut feeder too.

Snowy foliage

UFB??? - Unidentified Feeding Bird??

Ok so not quite as mysterious as an Unidentified Flying Object but more interesting in my opinion.

This happy little chappy visitied my garden while I was making lunch.... I got so distracted that I burnt the toast!!! I reached for my camera but only managed to get 2 pictures of this amazing little bird.

Here he is again feeding upside down on one of the sources in the garden.
If you have any idea what it is please let me know as I'm at a loss.

The birdies of my garden

Sorry pictures are a little small.

You'll need a magnifying glass!!

Sturklings feeding on the feeding station. Note the coconut on the right side. There are three sides which the birds can eat from. They managed to get through one side within a few days! Now they are concentrating on the otherside.

On the left of the picture you will see a Christmas tree. This is the tree which has the peanut feeder hanging from one of the branches. Still a bit wee for the B & Q lights.

A lonesome Blackbird looking for food.

Sturklings still feeding!

Coconut hanging from the right side of the feeding station.

Notice the positioning of the Coconut. It has been moved from the right hand side of the feeding station to the left side. The birds had becom quite clever and were standing on the arm of the nut feeder below to peck the coconut fat. When another bird landed on the outside of the coconut they held the nut still and they were able to feed quicker. ..so I moved it! Some then gave up and went to a different source of food hanging in the garden, whilst others persisted and won!

Have you spotted the two large birds on the feeding tray?

Looking through the glass window and watching the birds find the bird seed which was scattered earlier!
